American producer Will Creason aka Cosby has a storied history in multiple electronic micro-scenes but he first crossed our radar back in early 2011 with "Sangria," an entrancing slice of sultry nu groove magic that we immediately burned and spun out in several time zones. Inspired equally by NY garage and Baltimore club music, he pieced together the rest of his SILK debut from sessions in Seattle and D.C. The results are a colorful cutaway of classic club modes: dubbed vocal workouts, confused house, footloose FX, jacked acid, filtered disco edits, and more. Hands Together casts a wide net, dragging up a funky, freaky mishmash of time-warped forms from the bottom of the body-music collective consciousness.
